illustrationPsynova Neurotech is working closely with the Cambridge Centre for Neuropsychiatric Research (CCNR) at the Institute of Biotechnology, Cambridge University, on a collaborative research programme. The aim of the programme is to use the CCNR Biobank of clinical samples and the PsyData database to identify novel biomarkers for Schizophrenia and Bipolar Affective Disorder.

 

Psynova Neurotech will seek to validate promising biomarkers through clinical studies and will develop diagnostic and prognostic tests that can be used by clinicians, and also by pharmaceutical companies for drug discovery and development. Psynova Neurotech also intends to seek opportunities to re-profile drugs for use with Neuropsychiatric disorders and to initiate its own drug discovery programmes using proprietary biomarkers.
