About Psynova :
Psynova Neurotech Ltd is a CNS diagnostics company founded in 2005 by Prof. Sabine Bahn, MD, PhD, MRCPsych, and Prof Chris Lowe, PhD of the University of Cambridge. Our aim is to develop clinically useful tests to aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders by building on the ground-breaking research by Prof. Bahn in identifying novel biomarkers for neuropsychiatric illnesses. Psynova Neurotech recently signed a co-development agreement with Rules Based Medicine (RBM) Inc. for its first product - a serum biomarker panel to aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia. Psynova Neurotech and RBM expect this will be the first of several products in related therapeutic areas, such as bipolar affective disorder (also referred to as manic depression) and major depression to address this unmet clinical need for objective molecular tests in psychiatric disorders.
Psynova Neurotech is also the project co-ordinator in an 8 member consortium recently awarded a €2.75million European Commission Framework 7 grant to develop minimally invasive, high throughput, low cost molecular assays for the early diagnosis of schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders. Provide high-quality administrative support to the Psynova project teams and take responsibility for the effective and efficient running of the Psynova office
Provide other project and office management support, including project promotion and marketing; bookkeeping and petty cash management; secretarial and presentational activities.
