George has a PhD in Neuropsychiatric disorders and has amassed more than 16 years of commercial experience in this field. He has extensive experience in the areas of molecular and cell biology, neural stem cells, target identification and validation and drug discovery and screening in programmes for bipolar depression, migraine and schizophrenia. Psynova Neurotech injected with a further £250k as it develops commercial potential
Psynova Neurotech Ltd, the spin-out from The University of Cambridge which focuses on the advancement and exploitation of biomarkers for neuropsychiatric disorders, has received a further £250k from investors after reaching agreed milestones.
The funding comes from Porton Capital Ltd (£200k) and Cambridge Enterprise Seed Funds (£50k) as Psynova Neurotech draws closer to developing diagnostic tests and therapeutic agents for Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorders as well as other significant neuropsychiatric illnesses. [read PDF file]
