About Psynova Neurotech - Funding

Psynova Neurotech received seed venture capital (VC) funding from the Cambridge Enterprise Seed Fund (CESF) and Porton Capital in 2006/7. 

 

CESF funds new businesses based on intellectual property developed at Cambridge University and offers continuing advice and help with strategy, marketing and raising further funds. 

 

illustrationIn 2008 Psynova Neurotech entered into an agreement with Rules Based Medicine (RBM) Inc. to co-develop a candidate biomarker panel into a clinical test to aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia, pursuant to which RBM made an investment into Psynova Neurotech. RBM has made additional investments in Psynova Neurotech and now has a controlling interest in the company.
